Offaly Dyslexia Group Adopts New Logo

by Offaly Dyslexia Group | Aug 16, 2009 | Children, Dyslexia, Offaly Dyslexia Group News, Support, Uncategorized | 0 comments

Some time ago it was decided that if the Offaly Dyslexia Group were to be taken seriously we should adopt a suitable logo. This may sound obvious, but it comes down to branding imagery associated with the group so that people will automatically think ODG(!) when they see it.

A great example of this is when people see a yellow M they will probably think of McDonalds. Another extraordinary success story is that of the humble daffodil being used to represent all things related to Cancer, ie the hospice service, McMillan Nursing, Irish Cancer Society, etc.

So, what do you think? We produced this picture of innocence just in time to print it onto our posters and hope that we will be able to raise sufficient funds to be able to produce a booklet for the group soon. Please contact us for details of how you can help us with this project…
