Thanks to the staff of Tullamore Library for arranging a visit by Offaly Dyslexia workshop members to the library last Monday evening. A great time was had by all, with a number of our members checking out books to read in the weeks to come.
Especial thanks to Mary Arrigan renowned internationally published author and illustrator who gave two half-hour talks to two groups from the Offaly Dyslexia Association. The two groups divided by age into an older (10 children, aged up to 16) and younger (25 children, aged from 8) group and each got to meet Mary as she talked about her work as an author/illustrator describing how a book comes to fruition.
